The “Iron Knights” team - a squad consisting of 10 Soldiers from various companies and military occupational specialties - competed against the brigade’s six other battalions in a series of seven physically and mentally challenging stations spread across Fort Carson’s Iron Horse Park and infamous “Commo Hill.”Ĭommand Sgt. The Soldiers with 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, were the proud winners of the initial “This is My Squad” competition March 3, 2021.
The competition required Soldiers to rely on physical fitness, land navigation and a series of Soldier tasks and mental skills in order to complete each of the seven stations.
